Geotextile is a permeable textile product with stabilizing and filtration properties used in foundation, ground, rock and soil materials. There are three types as Polyester, Polypropylene and Recycled.

FEATURES:

The most important feature of geotextile is the continuous surface used to separate two different types of floor. The fiber-containing structure of the geotextile makes it possible to emit concentrated forces. In addition, it acts as a reinforcing element and resists the tensile forces spreading in the soil mass. Geotextile can be used for pollution purposes due to filter properties. While preventing the passage of solid particles, it remains sufficiently permeable to liquid (water) and gas (air). Under certain conditions, these products can carry a significant amount of water along its surface, and therefore can be treated with a drain element. Briefly, geotextile has hydraulic and mechanical functions. It has 4 basic functions:

Drainage, Filtration, Separation, Reinforcement
